Nature as inspirations developed by the Minangkabau esthetic concept. "nature was developed to be a teacher". To maintain the concept, the Minangkabau motif needs to be recognized by the wider circles of society. The Minangkabau motif was developed by using design concepts from textile and carved motif, which was simplified and fit in to textile medium.<p>Embroidery design applied to fashion product, like shawl and gown, which was put in exploration in advance. The exploration, use embroidery more like as an application with add others materials. Furthermore, the Minangkabau embroidery were united with other technique of embroidery, in order that embroidery have more variations an can combine each others.<p>Manual embroidery application with motif rooted in a Minangkabau community life way, can be one of alternative and enrich the development of Indonesia textiles. <br /> text
