Unification of data from many places that not handle rightly can cause mistaken in sales report and make management take wrong decision.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To solve this problem, a system that can integrate distributed transaction data to a new database, data mart, is needed. Data integration process can be done by Extraction-Transform dan Load (ETL) mechanism with Relational Online Analytical Processing (ROLAP) approach. ROLAP technology can provide data for analysis in form of multidimensional database (containing dimension dan fact table).<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Tools which used to implement development of this system are Pentaho. It is because; Pentaho is one of Business Intelligence (BI) platform which is integrating a set of BI components. Component which supporting analysis processes are Kettle, Mondrian, and JPivot.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The development of this system can solve the lack capabilities at the system that running by providing the data integration function, making sales report, and sales analysis features. text |
