In this study, Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were synthesized using modified spray pyrolysis method. Reaction parameters such as growth temperature, heating time and ferrocene mass were varied to obtain a high quality of CNTs. Three techniques were used to characterize the resulted CNTs including Scanning...

Reaction parameters such as growth temperature, heating time and ferrocene mass were varied to obtain a high quality of CNTs. Three techniques were used to characterize the resulted CNTs including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX),and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The results showed that CNTs diameters were in the range of 40 to 50 nm. The variations of reaction parameters indicate effects of morphology and diameter range to the resulted CNTs. Other characteristics found were crystallites orientations of (002), (101), (102), (004). The present study also suggested that the modified Spray Pyrolisis seems to be appropriate for CNTs fabrication. text
