Summary: | The study arranged in Limboto Groundwater Basin, Province of Gorontalo. This location is an area of steep-slope mountain morphology unit, especially in the center and north Gorontalo area as the edges of east and north of Limboto Groundwater Basin, with the any several peaks exist in Tilongkabila mountain that the morphology particularly established by tertiary volcano mineral and plutonic. Secondary data used involves hydrogeology data arising from several tubewells and exploration tubewells, rice, secondary crops, corn, soybean, and peanut. The optimum discharges of well approximately 5.55 l/sec to 38.41 l/sec of gradual pumping test result. The hydrology data obtained from 2 (two) rainfall station in observation area, while the effective rainfall acquired by R80 and R50 methods and evapotranspiration calculated with in Penmann method. The irrigation water supply demand about 0.095 to 3.561 l/sec/acre crop with 3 (three) cropping pattern alternatives. The observation result of cropping pattern alternatives shows that lowest surplus about 14,879 million m3/year and 35,654 million m3/years for secondary crop cropping pattern. By hydrology and hydrogeology conditions of observation area, groundwater utilization by using of tubewell with optimum discharge is still possible to develop for groundwater irrigation at needed in cultivation. By the changing of cropping pattern showed that in area about 1252.56 acre can be developed with an extra about 750 acre width for secondary crops cropping pattern. |
