Description
Summary:Optimization of gas transmission pipeline network with multi-users is being studied here. At the start of the installation, some of the users took parts in the utilization of the transmission, and later due to the new requests from other users. Optimization is necessary to find optimum size of diameters related to the expansion of network related to the additional users at different locations. The problem here is to find a model for Toll Fee for each user, taking into account the locations of users and time different in utilization of the transportation. The optimization problem here is solved numerically with Genetic Algorithm, resulting optimal size of diameters. The Toll fee formulation for each user is composed into two parts: the investment cost and operating cost, taking into account the starting time, rate and position of the outlet. <br />
