Description
Summary:The wind turbine is one of engine producing alternative energy that can be one solution of energy crisis problem. To create it that can produce high power, it's required study about the factors that influence its efficiency such as form and mass of blade. The experiment result indicates that the blade in the form of limb can produce the higher power efficiency (27,19%) than other forms such as rectangular (22,00%), triangular (18,30%) and frolate (16,83%). While based on the mass of blade used, the experiment result indicates that the blade made of fiber (m=5,78 grams), thin paralon (m=10,48 grams) and thick paralon (m=20,23 grams) each can produce power efficiency 10,62%, 15,27% and 12,13%. The wind turbine model made can be applied as physics learning method in SMA/MA to introduce the students about research based learning.
