Description
Summary:The terrestrial and photogrametric methods used for providing the basic map of land registry are unable to meet and cover throughout Indonesian regions. The availability of the basic map of complete land registry will help to the process of land registry by National Land Agency. With the technological progress in the field of mapping and satellite, it can be made a large-scale map from satellite image as long as meeting the established precision.
The image geometric correction has been carried out by a coordinate transformation method using two variations of common points derived from field GCPs and raw image GCPs. The result of coordinate transformation in the form of transformation parameter and the coordination as a result of transformation consisting of the coordinates of image GCPs and image details. In addition, it has been conducted a terrestrial measurement as reference data for obtaining a field detail coordinate. The accuracy analysis uses Root Mean Square Error (RMSe) and standard deviation to identify the point accuracy and distance from the image. While the analysis of the comparison is used to study the area tolerance. The accuracy obtained from the image is then compared with the accuracy standard from National Land Agency.
The point position accuracy (RMSe) obtained from this research is in the range of 0,44 m to 0,48 m, distance RMSe is in the range of 0,53 m to 0,62 m, and the percentages of area difference yielded between terrestrial and image methods are from 0.08% to 5.03%. The accuracy of common point is 0.1 mm on the map scale that can be only used for the basic map of land registry of the scale 1:10000. Whereas the planimetric accuracy is 0.3 mm on the map scale and cartometry accuracy is 0.5 on the map scale can be met in the accuracy for the basic map of land registry of the scales of 1:2500 and 1:10000. The quickbird image can be identified as well at the scale of 1:3000.
