From the calculation that was done in the final project before, the potential thermal energy from this air cooler from the grate cooler is 15,81 MW.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> The hot air thermal energy will be used to produce electricity using the Kalina cycle. The Kalina cycle resemble with the Rankine cycle, but the fluid that is used are ammonia-water. Because of the fluid that is used are mixture of ammonia-water, the Kalina cycle can be use at the the temperature of 200 degrees C-300 degrees C.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> The simulation are done to know how much the electrical energy that can be produced from the exhaust gas using the Kalina cycle. The simulation are using hysys version 3.2 software.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> From the simulation the electrical energy that can be produced is 2,137 MW. text |
