Summary: | P-wave reflection method was used in purpose to imaging earth's subsurface. In fact, this method is not always successfully used, because earth's subsurface have physical properties that cannot be solved only by P-wave reflection survey. Reservoir with low PP impedance is the example. In this case, P wave reflection cannot image boundary well. Converted wave method is second tool when P-wave survey fail. Good acquisition is needed to make good and efficient converted wave's data. Data consist of field with invisible top reservoir in P-wave survey. Analysis were focused to find best amplitude in many incidence angle (Amplitude Versus Angle-AVA) in converted wave survey. AVA analysis would be compared with stacking partial angle data (near, mid, far angle). The result shows that converted wave is applicable to get top reservoir image, which invisible in P-wave survey, although OWC cannot detected. Besides that, Amplitude Versus Angle curve and angle stack shows that good quality converted wave data were produced from mid angle incidence. <br />
