Sensors which are studied in this final project will be implemented at a robot called Robot Predator. Design and test of those sensors focused on software algorithm with the result that robot has a good method for doing missions on Expert Category KRCI competition.

According to the test result, Robot Predator is able to avoid collision, following the wall. Robot predator is also able to handle the obstacles such as hanging wall (mirror and sound damper), carpet, uneven floor, clutter and ramp. Robot Predator can finish the missions such as extinguishing candle flame and locate the baby's heat position. The success percentage of Robot Predator when practice is 84% while the success percentage when doing competition at KRCI 2007 is 50%. Despite the percentage decreased, Robot Predator got runner up position on expert category KRCI 2007.
text
