Many countries in the world still improve the development of Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) as a multi-function flying object. With its advantages, UAV become a choice to do some missions or activities.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> However, there is still less of research and improvement of UAV in Indonesia. Regarding its advantages, UAV has lots of potential to be use in Indonesia, especially as a surveillance/reconnaissance vehicle.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on this problem, the author makes the design and production of mini size and portable UAV, called mini-portable UAV. In process of making mini portable UAV, the author did trial and research to get UAV design variables, preliminary design, detail design, production and first flight tentative.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The author hopes theoretical and practical information about UAV, particularly mini UAV, will fulfill after this Final Project. The author also hopes this Final Project can be as foundation for the next mini-UAV design.
