Summary:BTS tower is tower which is used for radio or telecommunication's wave transmitter. There are two kinds of power supply system for BTS, the main supply is conducted by PLN, and the second one is conducted by diesel generator. Using of wind turbine on BTS tower can substitute one of those supplyer, however main power as 10-15 kW is predicted hardly conducted by a wind turbine. Therefore, the possible subtituted function is the function of diesel generator as a back up power supply.<p>The alternatif wind turbine design for BTS tower use a new mechanism, which use sliding door mechanism. This movement mechanism do not use shaft as its rotational center so it can be set easily by putting it to mainframe of BTS tower. This mechanism makes the installation of wind turbine wouldn't disturbing BTS performance.<p>The wind turbine has an integrated generator inside. As the results, the generator could produces electricity in low rotation level. Generated voltage of generator reaches 17 volts on 33 rpm and started to charge the battery in rotation of 29 rpm.
