The Last Disposal in this city is no longer the gathering so the redundant waste results in many problems such as disease, etc.<p>In managing this problem, communal system in study area is confronted with many obstacles and gets more advantages than its obstacles. This shows that the waste management in the study area may be regarded effective.<p>The technical aspects of operation cover : [1] Waste handling, [2] Collecting and [3] Processing. Waste handling is conducted by each household and has not been separated into organic and inorganic waste. Collecting is conducted by waste collector. Processing conducted is processing organic waste into compost with Takakura Home Method. Solid waste that may be turn into compost is 55% from total solid waste production, to be recycled and sold to location is around 45% was disposed by burning.<p>There was obstacles and benefits in communal system solid waste management in study area. The obstacle was less than benefits, which shows that the communal system solid waste management was successful in study area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Recommendation for the local people is that they [1] maintain the communal system of waste management, [2] increase awareness of waste management on storage in each household and [3] cooperate with the private especially in produced compost marketing. Recommendation for local governments is that they [1] socialize waste management system to communal system throughout environment [2] further subsidize/support for the people who has managed waste with the communal system. <br /> text
