Summary: | The dimensionless IPR curve equation for gas well have been developed recently however those are limited to homogenous reservoir. The phenomena of skin which is occurred around the wellbore has been observed to development of IPR curve, included. Hydraulically fractured gas wells has also been considered. But, there is no dimensionless IPR equation to determine the performance of naturally fractured gas wells until now.<p>This research is intended to obtain the dimensionless IPR equation for dry gas well produced from naturally fractured reservoir. The equation is acquired by conducting numerical modelling using CMG simulator. Naturally fractured reservoir is modeled using the facility in the simulator, by inputing two permeability values (dual permeability) and two porosity values (dual porosity) in a reservoir system. The turbulence effect also included in this research.<p>The research result show that the dimensionless IPR equation for dry gas well produced from naturally fractured reservoir has different behaviour with the last homogenous gas reservoir IPR equation. So, the result IPR equation can be used to find out production performance of a gas well produced from naturally fractured reservoir. |
