Depok administration area, even though it is an urban area, the agriculture practices at this time is still one of the population's livelihood source. Agro horticuluture (fruits and ornamental plants) that grows in Depok urban area are prospective to be developed towards agro tourism activities.<p>Along wih the increasing demand for the development of the physical space in the city of Depok, the trend of transforming the open space/open green space and the pond's shoreline into other uses has become a major concern for the environmentalists community in Depok, who encourage to rescue and maintain the area of diminished open space. The issuance of policy that enable to utilize the ponds to reach environment and economic values will lead to the changes in managing the ponds by integrating agriculture with involving community participation. The Pond of Situ Pengasinan is one of place where the activities are implemented.<p>From the research that had been conducted, it has established an innovation management in the system of Pond Pengasinan to generate agro tourism opportunities. The end result of this research indicates that eventhough this activity had succesfully enough changed the environment physical appearance and the public to care to its area, but the development strives for the agrotourism activity are still being confronted by various constraints. For now the Area of Pond Pengasinan is more precisely to be categorized as a recreational area which contain an education value to its environment (environment educative recreation). <br />
