Production elements such as product, production machines and workstations are modeled into objects which have high intelligence as one of the solutions to make information and material flow in production processes fluency so that all the production process could be fluency too. Product is an important element in industrial manufacturing. PT XYZ as one of the industrial manufacturing which produce commercial automobile will apply ADiMS in its production processes. During production processes, information of the product and production elements is very important to control material and information flow from one workstation to the others. If there is a problem such as delay in material flow, SPTM will detect and solve the delay quickly so that it can make cycle time of the product making process efficient and maintain its quality.<p>This thesis contains software design based on Autonomous Distributed Manufacturing System concept which has been developed in the Production Engineering Laboratory, Mechanical Engineering Department of ITB. The software which has been developed includes activities model and equipment that used to support the activities in PT XYZ. The software is using web based application. This application is supported with storing data facility into database. Database model is developed based on activities model and its equipments. text
