Taking a certain assumption and specific configuration, this method can be useful to detect vehicle movement on the road and road lamps automation.<p>In this research, image processing was studied for detecting object, calculating object's velocity, and controlling lamps based on the result of the process. Furthermore, this method was applied on a system at road lamps, which turns off automatically all the lamps on the road when there was no vehicle. Having the certain assumption and configuration, this experiment shows that the system can be implemented, especially at 1.32 m/s maximum speed of 13 x 9.3 cm vehicle model with at most 23.48% error calculation. text |
