Description
Summary:Association scheme is a theory about set and relation. The theory is one of the branches of algebraic combinatorics. The Johnson scheme is the most important example of association scheme for coding theory. Delsarte (1973) defines algebraic concept of a mathematical object which is related to an association scheme. In this final project, the object is called Delsarte t-design. At this time, combinatorial interpretation of the mathematical object is unknown, if the object is defined on an arbitrary association scheme. But in particular, if we choose Johnson scheme as example of association scheme, then Delsarte t-design on the Johnson scheme is a combinatorial object called t-design. The main goal of this final project is to explain in detail the relationship between Delsarte t-design on the Johnson scheme and t-design.
