Description
Summary:Radiotherapy is addressed mostly to eradicate cancer with ionization. The objective of the radiotherapy is to deliver a sufficiently high and as homogeneous a dose as possible to the planning target volume while minimizing damage to healthy organs/tissue. However some variation is unavoidable. Thus, it is important to be able to verify the success of the treatment by determining the dose deposited in the patient at each fraction. In this work, the image of the output dose were collected by a film dosimetry and then were used to verify the treatment using midplane dose method. This method was tested to verify a case adopted from Hasan Sadikin Hospital. Furthermore, this method is then applied to a software which hopefully can be used in clinical situation to make the verification easier.
