Summary: | PT. X is a multinational oil company which is operating in exploration and production area in Riau province, Central Sumatra. Before 1996, PT. X had an application of accounting system that separated for payroll, personnel, materials and purchasing, utilization, crude oil for operations fuel monitoring and others. Such a scattered accounting system created problems for PT. X to do process, monitor, report, plan, and decision making.<p>PT. X then planned the CALFAIS project to improve logistics, financial and accounting processes and report system for management and external parties by providing reliable information needed; planning, monitoring, better decision making; more efficient accounting process in term of time and cost; and accurate accounting process in corporation scope.<p>Study on change management of CALFAIS project is to review the development and implementation of the project from users' view, then to find what lesson-learned can be gotten from users' opinion on change management for a better implementation in the future if we have a similar project, and to search new ideas on add-value expected by users which can be added to the existing CALFAIS system. |
