Until now, the Academic Process in SBM-ITB has proceeding with a quite good result. This thing has been proven by the citizen appreciation towards this school that has been increase each year. But unfortunately, the academic process has not been mapped throughfully or referring to a certain standard. Business process mapping can be used to make a process improvement, so that these processes will get better and able to be used as a material to get accreditation both from local and international institution. The purpose of this final project is to make process model mapping and apply it to one of the business process using the iGrafx.<p> <br /> <br /> The Methodologies mainly consisting of 3 main steps which are the identification and mapping the business process, apply the business process example using iGrafx and try to find Improvement in form of utilization maximization from the business process. These 3 main steps later can be classified into another 8 sub process which are; identify problem, literature review, model business process, select pilot project, analyze current detail, propose new process, compare result and recommendations. This Final project also try to create the essence of how to make the framework of business process in higher education into the ABC process. ABC process made based on the point of view of the SCOR and PDCA. In the SCOR this final project take its hierarchical processes (hierarchical form) while in the PDCA is the 3 first step from the overall 4 steps which is the planning, delivering (executing) and control.<p> <br /> <br /> After mapping there are 3 processes in the 5 year cycle, 5 processes in the annual cycle and 4 processes in semester cycle. After these processes described, the registration process are taken as one example for further analysis. Analysis in the existing process is also made using the help of iGrafx. The improved business process are also simulated and compared with the current business process. The result shows that the new business process giving a better result such as decreasing in average serving time, queuing time and increasing in efficiency. After see the results, SBM-ITB is recommended to use the new business process. The conclusion of this final project is to recommend SBM-ITB to do the same thing to other business processes so that the other business processes will be more efficient.
