Summary:Plate as a protector or outtermost layer in a structural system frequently holed to fullfil its function. As an example are holes inside the aircraft cabin functioned as windows or ventilations. Ti.c existence of these holes affect on the plate's mechanical property. At the edge or tip of the plate occurs stress concerntration due to the air pressure inside cabin. If this stress concentration computed inaccurately, it will generate local failure and eventually will propagate the total failure.<p>This tesis describe an assesment regarding the effect of interholes distance and the distance between the hole and the edge or tip of the plate on plate with two circle formed holes under uniform axial stress loading. Interholes distance and the distance between the hole and the edge or tip of the plate varied as to observe the phenomena or certain pattern appeared. The appearing phenomena producing a general equation on stress concentration factor for the plate with two circle-formed holes. The finite element method and ANSYS software are utilized to ease the computation as well as analysis.
