To detect, how low is its concentration, highly sensitive analytical method is greatly demanded. Several techniques, such as the atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), the atomic emission spectrometry (AES) and the electrochemical (EC) techniques have been developed for the sensitive measurement of Pb2+ in water at the ppb-level during the past decades. However, the spectrometric methods are some what cumbersome, time consuming, and especially are not suitable for in situ measurement because of their complicated and ponderous instruments. In contrast, the electroanalytical techniques have the most attractive features, such as favorable portability, easy to operate, and high sensitivity, therefore, they are extremely popular for the determination of heavy metal ions. One of the method of this technique is differential pulse stripping voltammetry (DPSV), as a better alternative for the trace heavy metals analysis. This method produce a large signal due to praconcentration of analyte on the electrode surface. text |
