Description
Summary:Calcium is one of the elements required by the body. Insuffiency of calcium in the body can cause porosity of bones, but comsumption of a abundant calcium is not suggested because it will be excreted through urine. The level of someone's health, can be seen from the composition of his or her urine. High calcium quantity in body fluids can cause kidney ailment. In this research the most appropriate of methods have been used based on the accuracy, speed and the cost needed to determine the calcium quantity in the urine. Methods in this research are based on the methods gravimetry-redox titration, complexometry titration and atomic absorbtion spectrosphotometry (AAS). The three methods are applied to determine the calcium quantity in the urine simulation where the concentration of calcium is known.
