Summary: | Educational world as a social system is a real complex and interesting dynamics. The system has models which are not simple and their characters differ from the components that cause it. Physics concepts can be utilized as reference in the development and application of the system. This research tries to prove that some phenomena in educational world can be comprehended quantitatively using a physicist approach. This understanding requires the knowledge of abstraction about the processed, and analytical skills (theoretical skills) so that structural fundamental components can be formulated and processed quantitatively. This research shows that the phenomenon of Self Organized Critically (SOC) which can also observed at the second order phase transitions of liquid-gas is demonstrated by the Indonesian middle education system (SLTA). When students in Senior High School (SLTA) are going to continue their study the limited intake capacity of college of turn this condition so critical. Student data to continuing them study will have certain distribution which characterize the SOC phenomena that is the Power law. |
