Summary:This thesis studied about maximum crack width formulae on one-way slabs reinforced by investigate influence of variation of steel stress, size of reinfo rcing bar, and cover thickness parameters. Crack width calculations use for formulae by Kaar-Hognestad, Base et.al., Borges (for the use of PBI 1971), Beeby, Gergely-Lutz (for the use of ACI 318-90, NZS 3101-82, SNI Beton-91), and CEB-FIP 1978. A crack equation differentiation with mathematical approach and regression least square analysis. Results shows, steel stress, size of reinforcing bar, and cover thickness are significant parameters on maximum crack width. Experimental study on one-way slabs reinforced with limited number, use for compare the result of crack width calculations.
