Summary: | From the Supply Chain Management (SCM) point of view, the most important problem in distribution commodities of after-harvest paddy is the uncertaintly in accessibility of informations to stakeholders. This problem is giving a bad impact for consumers, farmers, and all who are involved in this system.<p>Previous researchs are limited in web and mobile applications for increasing productivity by managing farming tools and raw-materials. This research focus on designing web and mobile-SCM application for solving distribution problem in afterharvest paddy commodities. Web and mobile SCM are chosen because the characterities that could handle the actor's problems.<p> In this research, the designed web application use a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) through Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to send a request to a service existing in the Uniform Resource Locator (URL). The designed mobile application is a smart client installed in a mobile phone which is created with Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME). System design in software requirement specifications (SRS), use case diagrams, class diagrams need to be compared in a table in other to macth with the customer's requirements. |
