Acid base reaction can be used as simple chemical reaction that is relevant to the chemical equilibrium reaction and to be done in the laboratory. The using of natural indicators to detect acid base reaction expected for helping students to understand chemical equilibrium reactions concept. Roselle flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa) color that has a sharp and typically examined as an indicator acid base. In this research, the pigment of sheath roselle flowers was extracted by methanol, ethanol and Aqua demineralization. |
