| Summary: | Stockpile is the center of operational in coal port. Before being shipped to consumer, coal which been mined in sites will be bring to coal port for then being sent to consumer. Stockpile has important function as temporary inventory place for coal. Other than that function, stockpile has few others important functions such as: blending place, which is process to mixing coal with different calori for making up specific calori. Because of its significant importance, a little disturbance in stockpile can deliver significant impact shipping delay, decrease in coal quality and soon which can make huge loss to the company.<p>For improving company operational performance, PT SRT is planning to do stockpile improving. Improving which is planned to do is including fixing stockpile drainase project and expanding stockpile area project. For expanding stockpile area project there are 2 choices which are : using stockpile bench or car way.<p>This final project is focused on feasibility study on those two projects. Financial approach which being used are with financial approach and risk approach. This final project also resulting few suggestions which can be used to optimalize the feasibility and risk management to guarantee the project success. This final project also include modeling for both of the projects.<p>This report is consists of few chapters, which are: introduction, business issue exploration, business solution, implementation plan and strategy, and conclusion and suggestion. Hopefully this kind of systematic writing will clearly explained all the relevant problems and solutions which is used in this final project. |
