Summary: | One of factors that influence free fall is air drag. Air drag is influenced by air temperature while object falls. But free fall teaching at high school, generally been tought on since the influence of the gravitation mentioning another force. Information method is utilized to pass on existing formula. It happens because there's no module and instrument to observe phenomenon.<p>To observe phenomenon at air drag for a free fall object at various temperature it requires instrument that can measure time with hight accuracy. Digital Timer with automatic switch as light and sound censors have hight accuracy and response. This instrument can be measuring the object fall time with to the shortest time 0,001 second.<p>Experiment with this instrument on air temperature of 293,1 K until 301,3 K use short stereofoam cylinder with a mass of 0,0002 kg shows that air coefficient of friction (c) free fall object inverted by air temperature. Air drag coefficient on temperature 293,1 K; 296,0 K; 298,1 K and 301,3 K from the experiments serially 1,1434; 1,1404; 1,1391 and 1,1326. Decrease of air drag coefficient is 0,00136 if air temperature increased 1 K. |
