Description
Summary:Sumatran was accomodation subduction zone that collision between Indo-Australia and Eurasia plat. Manivestation of this collision had produced a lot of earthquake as long as west coastal Sumatran and one of earthquake is Simeulue earthquake which happen at February 20th, 2008.

Simeulue earthquake with magnitude 7.4 is a part from earthquake cycle which happened before. So it's very important to held earthquake modelling study from earthquake cycle with Observation of apparent crustal deformation. Development GPS technology caused this system become the best method to use for observation crustal deformation caused earthquake. Sumatran GPS Array Network (SuGAr) as continuous GPS station which setted as long as Sumatran island are used to study deformation caused earthquake.

Study of coseismic deformation as a observation displacement effort at the moment of earthquake give a highest displacement value in the epicenter and around. In the final project was doing, the value coseismic deformation of simeulue earthquake caused significant displacement in the SuGAr GPS station at Simeulue island. There are GPS station LEWK displace 8,87 cm to west south and GPS station BSIM displace 1,87 cm to south east with earthquake mecanism is reverse fault. Simeulue earthquake did not give significant effect to GPS station which setted in outer of Simeulue island.
