Vegetation index is the quantitative correlation according to the digital number of a satellite image to count the biomass or the vegetation intensity on the surface. With the use of NDVI, the vegetation intensity of an area is acquired.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Transformation of NDVI to runoff is done with 3 approximation. First, TPKA approximation by using polynomial regression orde 2 (TPKA = -63,61x2 – 116,66x + 46,977). Second, LPT approximation by using linier regression (LPT = 127,19x – 2,4779). Finally, by using direct approximation. The results shows that Padang Pariaman Ground Water Basin has a good vegetation index (83,80%) with positive NDVI value. NDVI method correlation test shows 85,37% trust rate.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Local conditions of land cover at the weather station expected have relation with the pattern variation of the local rainfall and also the runoff, it is acquired that 37,99% of the rainfall will become runoff, comparable with the runoff coefficient. At Tabing station, settlement area (73,42%) has a runoff coefficient of 0,7 and the amount of yearly runoff is around 2521 mm. Sasak station, forest area (50,92%) has a runoff coefficient of 0,45 and yearly runoff of 1389 mm. Sicincin station, farming area has a runoff coefficient of 0,5 and the amount of yearly runoff is 2052 mm. text |
