Description
Summary:Gait analysis is a method for quantifying the motions (kinematics), forces of motion (kinetics), muscle activity in walking. Gait analysis is used for a variety of purposes that revolve around evaluating and improving the efficiency of walking. In this final project we develop a marker's detection and tracking module for 3D gait analysis using several colors of markers in normal condition of light. We develop this module from previous module that made in Biomedical Engineering ITB on 2008. There are three parts that being developed which are, first in this final project the module was designed for 3D application. The second part is the ability of this module for used in room with normal condition of light, the previous project did not has this ability so it must be used in dark room. The third part of development is the used of several colors of markers for solving the problem rise from false marker detection if we use the previous tracking method in condition where marker displacement on each frame transition bigger than distance between markers on patient.
