Laboratory work could solve the problem because it provide students with opportunity to see chemistry in action and help visualizing chemistry concepts. At the present time, many schools in Indonesia does not have laboratories so that students does not have the opportunity to chemistry in action. To solve this problem we need to have mobile laboratory that can go to school in remote area. Unfortunately, science most of chemical reaction occur in solution, special packaging is required to bring solution. We need to develop alternative chemistry laboratory procedure to minimize the use of solution in laboratory work. This research is intended to develop immobilization methods of chemical reagents in silica gel and filter paper to visualized acid-base and redox reaction in laboratory. Some acid-base and redox reagents has successfully immobilized in both media. Immobilization of chemical reagents in filter paper is easier and faster than that of silica gel. Acid-base and redox reaction are also occur faster in filter paper than those of silica gel. Two laboratory procedure using material from market, each for acid-base and redox concept, have been written based on the research. text
