The research is an analysis to the UN questions which refer to frame work brought by Lithner.<p>The research is to know the reasoning level which needed by student to answer the UN mathematic questions for high school IPA program year 2007/2008. Base on the analysis to 40 UN questions, there are 30 questions (80%) which included to imitative reasoning (IR) and 8 questions (20%) that included creative reasoning (CR).<p> Base on the research, the reasoning that needed by student to answer the UN mathematic questions for high school year 2007/2008 is imitative reasoning only. This means that the most part just measure the student imitative reasoning competency achievement. text
