Summary: | Air quality is affected by the emissions source. One example of the emissions source is motor vehicles. Motor vehicles emit the gas nitrogen dioxide (NO2) on the highway. Measurement of air quality carried out by spreading the tools of air quality sampler concentrations along the road were observed. The spread sampler tool was conducted at random. Because the distribution of the sampler tool is random, the air quality data are discrete and random. To obtain the distribution of air quality information is organized spatially, required a spatial interpolation method. To present air quality information, required a best spatial interpolation method. The best spatial interpolation method is obtained by comparing several methods of spatial interpolation. The interpolation method which compared are kriging, radial basis function, inverse distance to power, and moving averages. The interpolation results of four methods were compared by accuracy test and comparison test. That test compared the results of an interpolation data with the measurement data. From the research results, we obtained that kriging and inverse distance to power method are the best interpolation method to obtain air quality information. |
