Dynamics that occur in coastal areas are distinguished by the cause of natural and human factors. Natural factors that affect the coastal seas around are known as oceanographic parameters. Ocean tide and current are fews of the oceanographic parameters that affect and damage the coastal area. This final task try to assess the characteristics of these two oceanographic parameters at the coastal area of Indramayu's regency using direct field measurements, the calculations to quantify these two parameters, and to confirm the results to the existing secondary data.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of this study provide information of ocean tide patterns along Indramayu's coast are not uniform. And pattern of ocean current in this area is highly influenced by non-tidal factor (wind) during the interval time of observation. These two oceanographic parameters patterns are related as well to the damage of the coastal area at research area. text
