Description
Summary:Rugged topography and low velocity near surface layer are some of the important challenges that we face in seismic data processing. This problems often called statics, a bulk shift of a seismic trace in time during seismic processing.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the usage of static correction. The usage of static correction was tested with a synthetic dataset and provided a reliable sub-surface model. But the usage of this static correction has have not yet succeeded to overcome problem that resulted from significant lateral velocity change at near surface layer.
