Multistage triaxial test is one of the most important test in rock mechanic in order to obtain information about mechanical properties of rock, i.e. strength anvelope, shear strength, internal friction angle, and cohesion. As rock mechanic develop, triaxial test is able to be conducted either in con...

To develop new method regarding multistage triaxial tets, in this research, it has conducted a triaxial test together with ultrasonic measurement. This is to evaluate ultrasonic velocity in determining the termination point for each stage of confining pressure. The rock failure criteria used in this research is Mohr-Coulomb, Bieniawski I&II, and Hoel-Brown criteria. text
