Description
Summary:Physics is a part of natural sciences which basically is collection of knowledge thinking and investigating processes. Thus, teaching methods in physics should be brought back to nature. Wave phenomena are among nature phenomena which are closed to our life. However, the concept of wave is difficult to understand for most junior high school students and senior high school students. Speed of sound is one basic conception wave phenomena. Therefore we design experiments to measure sound wave speed in air and water. The experiments consists of three different experiments where the analyze are graphs and carried of by the use of by the use of osciloscope appearance. The result are close enough to the theory with 6% error in measuring sound speed on air, 17% error in measuring sound speed in the water and 3.77% of measuring sound speed in air by the use of oscilloscope.
