| Summary: | The lack of knowledge management process usually becomes the background of the obstacles of the activities. Some condition shows that the lack of knowledge sharing and knowledge collaboration, especially knowledge for finishing jobs, are lead to mistakes and behind schedule jobs. No activity in documenting knowledge from the field becomes the other reason. This situation tend to the condition where knowledge hold in ones head and could not use by other employee or become an asset of organization.<p>Solution is needed for good knowledge management. IT and telecommunication can be use for knowledge management especially for the condition where work location and the location of the employee that spread in the wide area. Knowledge portal is an example of technology that commonly used. Knowledge portal can be used as a media for knowledge management, especially for company with many project based activities. Knowledge portal will be use for knowledge arrangement function that covers capture, organize and knowledge storage. So, knowledge from all activities will be good organize in the media and reuse it in the future. <br />
