| Summary: | This study aims to produce Application Program for Evaluation of Physics Learning Achievement based on integrated computer network through the LAN, evaluation of Individual Results in Physics learning, data as matrix tabulation by a computer server with general test characteristic as output. Using computer based experimental method, the program was designed to connect students' test data obtained from tests on the LAN at client computer and collected in a database server. The program was tested iteratively in order that the program user friendly and convenience for users, both teachers and students. Tests conducted for the LAN connection, HUB, Server and Clients. Connectivity test can also monitored by exchange of data from all clients to the server with the certain IP address. Network connection examination was also applied for some computers in small-scale network LAN with 1 server and 4 clients. On each computer, client evaluation has done by conducting the test directly in the computer. Each test which item was constructed by the teacher at server becomes the item of test on students in client's computer. Student's scores recorded in database server and the output displayed as a table and can be converted into Microsoft Excel files. This investigation has produced a program application for student evaluation results, containing: 1) The evaluation of learning achievement based on network results the effectiveness and work efficiency for teachers, 2) LAN network test that can be used to replace the manual tests, to save paper, time and energy and to increase student discipline, 3) data output of the program that can be compared with the data Microsoft Excel, there is no significant difference between those calculation. |
