In that time period, river-flows originate from groundwater storage around the river bank.<p>The estimation of minimum discharge for certain return period or probability, could be obtained data used in analyzing minimum discharge for Deli River, Ular River, Padang River, Silang River and Batang Torn River, are the lowest value of daily discharge in average. These data will be cheked through Chi-square method, and the result refer that the data feasible enough to be analysed.<p>In order to analyze minimum discharge of the above five rivers, it is used Gumbel Type I and III distribution methods. Both method give minimum discharge for each return period under consideration. But, the usage of Gumbel Type III distribution method gives much better result than Gumbel Type I for the above five rivers. text
