The level of energy absorpsion at one particular object influenced by the type and surface colour of object. The surface colors of object will be seen as light colour reflected by the object. Every light colour that reflected by surface of object has different wavelength, that indicates the different radiation energy level also. The amount of energy is inversely proportional of the wavelength of the light color. Based on light colors of spectrum hence the series of light colour from the biggest wavelength is: red, yellow, green, blue, purple. Black colour is the absence of colour in light spectrum so that light energy will be absorbed perfectly, while white colour is presence of all spectral colors maximumly so that light will be reflected ultimately radiation energy. In this kit the surface of object is painted with various colors from the same type of paint. For initial temperature is the room temperature, the experiment shows that the temperature of painted object increases linearly with the heating time. With the variation of the initial temperature, the temperature of painted object still constanly increases until the steady state condition is achieved (boiling point). In general it can be concluded that black color of surface object absorbs the largest amount of radiation energy, while the white color absorbs that of smallest one. text
