Produk X as some brand automotive that really was known in many people that have the number of employees about 1605 all over Indonesia. During 2004 Product X could do survey for the first time to his employee was related to the employee's satisfaction that was owned until now since the Product X establised in Indonesia. However at the time only had a trial so as only was carried out the sample of several employees and afterwards was discontinued or stopped. Because of that at this time in 2008 Product X tried to continue came back survey the employee's satisfaction that was connected with the work productivity. This formed the background of the existence of this research. The aim of this research personally was to as feedback for the management side in analysed, considered, and made planning for the management stage and the further development in 2009.<p>This research connected the level of the productivity of the work of the employee with the employee's satisfaction. The data collection was carried out by the spreading of the questionnaire that used the Luthans literature model for the satisfaction factor and the theory of the motivation (Herzberg), Erich & Gilmore, and Dale Timpe for the productivity part . Afterwards the taking of the sample totalling 167 employees or 7 branches from the total whole. In the analysis was carried out by the validation data, the correlation data, and signification data with simple regression through to got weight number respectively the data through the t test. The testing that was carried out used the program software SPSS ver.16 to facilitate in processing the available data.<p>From results survey the employee's satisfaction that was taken from 7 Product X branches in Indonesia, then the satisfaction index that was gotten on the whole was of 7.83 of the scales 10 that meaning that this employee had the level of quite good satisfaction. Although in fact in his details investigation had several dissatisfaction points that happened. This dissatisfaction happened in the aspect of the supervision and leadership if put in order in the level of dissatisfaction that was highest appropriate weight number that was given. This dissatisfaction was caused by the existence of the behaviour factor from a leader who was different to each one of his branches. Because of that needed the existence of the evaluation of the work from the leaders and the repairing in the other sector like his employee personally whether acting truly. This improvement could be carried out with held gathering, trainning, and meeting so that more strengthened relations and created openness so as more the harmony to the front of time. |
