Social and cultural life of the people believed in the future will be increasingly influenced by a variety of new value system as a consequence the development of information and communication technology. Economic growth and prosperity of the people of the future are also believed to be increasingly driven by the development of science and technology. The development of wisdom is the absolute need that requires a special approach. State Islamic University (UIN) Malang take control and use that knowledge and information technology are the opportunities and challenges that require quick and appropriate responses.<p>As a guide in implementing operational activities, UIN Malang have a Strategic Plan (Renstra) Year 2009 - 2013. However, in the document have not been the strategy and IT implementation as such, required Strategic Plan of Information Technology (Renstra TI) is planned well. Some thought that the concept is often used in IT strategy planning, such as John Ward, Boar and Markus Venzin with a target implementation of IT in the business world is oriented to maximize the benefits that the company obtained. State Islamic University (UIN) Malang as a PT in Indonesia, although can be considered an enterprise or company must obtain a benefit in order to survive, but the PT is also claimed to support the achievement of ideals of the Indonesian people through the Tri Dharma University, the Education , training and dedication to the community, the third main task of PT is more of a non-profit. Methodology so that it can be can not be used directly to prepare a PT Renstra TI. Therefore in this research tries to make the planning methodology for PT Renstra TI way to learn the methodology and IT strategy planning harmonization methodology between Business and IT by Henderson and Venkatman and consider the existence of conditions that have in UIN Malang. Based on the methodology that has been obtained and the results of field data analysis, it can Renstra TI designed for UIN Malang. <br />
