DEVELOPMENT OF LIGHT INTENSITY MEASUREMENT MODEL IN PHOTOMETRY

Luxmeter is the equipment that is used to measures illuminance. The illuminance needs to be known because the human being basically needs sufficient lighting. Because of that in this experiment has been made equipment for measuring illuminance. The equipment parts consist of photo-cell as the light...

The illuminance needs to be known because the human being basically needs sufficient lighting. Because of that in this experiment has been made equipment for measuring illuminance. The equipment parts consist of photo-cell as the light sensor, LM358 as an amplifier and active filter, ATmega8 microcontroller with 10-bit ADC, and seven-segment. Sensor calibration is done by determine the correlation between sensor output voltage and illuminance that received by the sensor, where the data is collected by varying the distance between the sensor and the light source. The other equipment that used in the calibration is Luxmeter Lutron LX-101 for measuring illuminance and multimeter HP34401A for measuring sensor output voltage. text
