Summary: | Nuclear data calculation such as cross section and fission mass distribution has been performed by many investigator using many program code for nuclear reactions. EMPIRE II is one of many nuclear reaction code which is using a lot of nuclear model theory and approximation to reproduce experimental data. However, EMPIRE II was unable to reproduce fission mass distribution. Mass distribution calculation can be performed in EMPIRE II by implementing one of most successful theoretical model from U. Brosa which is called RNRM (Random Neck Rupture Model ). This model said that neck rupture at scission point or saddle point has random behaviour and mass yield is defined as multiplication between fission probabilities and scission path of corresponding ones. Brosa has predicted that probability of scission path may lead to three most probable fission barrier type, that is Superlong I, Superlong II, and Standard. <br />
