Description
Summary:Airborne LIDAR is one of many method for measuring 3-dimentional position base on GPS, INS, and laser scanner, and using airborne vehicle in the survey proccess. Airborne LIDAR system use laser for measuring the distance from airborne vehicle to earth and other objects. LIDAR System also using GPS for measure the 3 dimentional position and INS for determine the 3-dimentional orinetation of the airborne vehicle. All the component in LIDAR system works separately but in harmony to produce LIDAR data.<p>The result of airborne LIDAR survey is 3 dimensional georeference-points that refers to GPS coordinate system (WGS 84), and that points can be visualized as Digital Terrain Model (DTM). Many application can use this data for solving their problems.
