The method to improve velocity model are Horizon velocity Analysis (HVA) and matrix adjustment. HVA is velocity analysis that use stack section as guide horizon so we can pick velocity consistently lateral. In other hand, matrix adjustment is a method that uses well data as velocity correction. Accuracy graphic and stack from migration are used to estimate the quality velocity model. |
